2012 Calendars from the Detour art exhibition are now reduced to $12.50 per calendar and are available to purchase now.
This is the perfect gift to deliver a powerful message at the same time as supporting Melbourne Citymission and the Detour project. Each month features images from the entire 36 piece collection. It really is a beautiful calendar.

The journey of Detour
In 2008, six leading Melbourne artists: Joseph Attard, Helen Edwards, Regina Hona, Lyn Mellady, Terrianne Murray and Raelene Sharp, approached Melbourne Citymission with their dream to paint artworks telling the story of six young homeless people from differing perspectives, as seen through the eyes of each of the artists.
Over the three years since, the artists, known collectively a ‘Fusion6’, worked with the six young people to produce a collection of 36 outstanding artworks. At the commencement of this project these young people were homeless and the project aims to draw public attention to the complex issues that result in homelessness and the personal stories that can be lost in government statistics.
The artists have generously offered to donate profits from the sale of the artworks to Melbourne Citymission. The purchase of any one of these works will greatly contribute to the ongoing support we provide to so many of Melbourne’s young people every week.
