Robyn Clark Award
Congratulations to Melbourne Citymission staff member Maureen Smythe who has been presented with a Robyn Clark Award from the Department of Human Services.
Maureen is the co-ordinator of our Community Integration and Accommodation Options program – ‘CIAO’ – a supported accommodation program for young people aged between 15 and 18 years, who are on a statutory order and in transition out of home-care services. Find out more about the program here
The Robyn Clark Awards recognise excellence in the children, youth and families sector and this is a fantastic achievement for Maureen.
Melbourne Citymission
Melbourne Citymission works with people experiencing disadvantage across Melbourne and Victoria. Every week we help thousands of people build a clear pathway away from economic exclusion and social isolation.
Our services support:
- people to find a pathway out of homelessness
- people with a disability to get the resources and support they need to live the life they want
- people to break the cycle of poverty and abuse
- people to find jobs, or enter into education and training.
