Can I become a resident?

You can become a resident if:

  • you are aged over 60 and retired.
Accommodation at Eltham Retirement Centre

There are a variety of accommodation types within the Village, designed to suit a range of lifestyles and preferences. Options include:

  • studio apartments
  • one- or two-bedroom units.

All units are heated, have full kitchens and you can be connected to your individual telephone line.

Eltham Retirement Centre: The Setting

Since 1956, Eltham Retirement Centre has been located within easy walking distance to the Eltham railway station and bus interchange and the central Eltham shops. The beautiful 16-acre flat parkland setting alongside the Diamond Creek provides tranquil and picturesque surroundings for relaxation for you and your visitors.

Eltham Retirement Centre: Facilities

There is a community lounge and dining area including BBQ facilities, a hall plus an on-site hairdresser.

The Residents’ Social Committee

The Residents’ Social Committee is very active, with a program of regular outings and on-site social activities. Residents also have access to:

  • allied health services available within the Village, including an over-60s exercise group
  • full-time Pastoral Care staff.

Please note:
Guest room accommodation can be available if long-distance relatives need to stay overnight when visiting you.
