Northern Parent Support Program
If you child is living with a disability or has additional needs, we can offer you support, information and someone to stand up for you.
Is this program for me?
We can work with you if:
- you are a parent of a child (aged up to 18 years) with a disability
- you are a parent of a child (aged up to 18 years) with additional needs.
How can the program assist me?
We can relieve some of the stress in your life by:
- providing information about services which could assist you and your family
- providing confidential assistance with problem solving
- offering advocacy in meeting with schools or other institutions
- providing practical assistance
- helping you make contact with other parents who have a child in a similar situation for mutual support
- training in volunteer support work.
You can also:
- receive our newsletter, Parent News
- contribute your story to our newsletter.

Family and Community Links
Family and Community Links, based in Brunswick, is a hub for children, young people and their families with a specific emphasis on inclusion for people of all abilities. Integrated services focus on early childhood development, to provide additional support to families in a safe, inclusive learning environment.
