T.I.M.E. Out Sibling Program
If one of your children is living with a disability, we can provide a space where your other children can have fun and socialise outside of the family home.
Is this program for me?
We can work with you if:
- you have a child or adolescent that has a sibling with a disability
- you are living in Melbourne’s north and west.
How can the program assist me?
The T.I.M.E. Out Sibling program can provide your child with a chance to:
- meet others their own age who also have siblings with a disability
- make lasting friendships
- talk about their home life
- learn that they are not the only ones with a brother or sister with a disability.
This program can help your child to:
- improve their self-esteem
- develop their own sense of identity
- better understand and accept their situation.
