If you are from aged 15 to 25 and are interested in working with other young people from different cultural backgrounds and developing your hospitality skills, join our Kitchen Culture program.

Is this program for me?

We can work with you if:

  • you are aged from 15 to 25
  • you are interested in working with other young people from different cultures
  • you want to develop your hospitality skills.
How can the program assist me?

Kitchen Culture offers you the chance to get a number of hospitality certificates, including:

  • Safe Food Handling
  • Barista (coffee making).

We also run workshops about:

  • racism
  • discrimination.

How long does the program run for?

7 weeks.

Melbourne Citymission’s Education, Training & Community Unit supports people experiencing disadvantage to be socially included in their community. The range of complementary and engagement programs prepare residents in Melbourne’s North and West to enter the workforce, remain connected to education, engage with further training opportunities, and to develop enhanced connections with their local community.
