If you are a man serving a Community Correctional order our employment consultants can provide intensive and individualised support so you can gain and maintain meaningful employment.
If you have been in prison or are just about to be released, we can support you to build your confidence, self-esteem and become active in your community.
If you are in custody at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre we can assist you to maintain relationships with your children and family.
If you are exiting prison, on a correctional order or on parole we can support you to find and maintain meaningful employment.
If you are about to leave prison, we can support you to re-settle into the community.
Justice Programs
We offer an integrated suite of justice programs to that provide support to women whilst they are in prison, and before and after they have been released.
We are the largest provider of women’s prison services in Victoria. We are a leader and innovator in service provision. We also play an important role in shaping service development and policy direction.
Melbourne Citymission’s Justice Services is made up of four programs that support women:
- to make a successful transition when they leave prison
- in prison in their role as mothers
- to assist women to build their confidence and self esteem
- to find and keep employment, once they have been released from prison.
