Our Programs & Services
Melbourne Citymission's programs & services
Since 1854 Melbourne Citymission has been supporting people who are disadvantaged. Alongside this focus, there is also a philosophy of advocating for social change to reduce the number of people experiencing disadvantage and to intervene as early as possible to limit the damage done.
Melbourne Citymission has always responded to the changing needs of the most disadvantaged people in our society; this has led to programs in disability, justice, homelessness, employment, education and skills training, aged care, and palliative care.

Melbourne Citymission
Melbourne Citymission works with people experiencing disadvantage across Melbourne and Victoria. Every week we help thousands of people build a clear pathway away from economic exclusion and social isolation.
Our services support:
- people to find a pathway out of homelessness
- people with a disability to get the resources and support they need to live the life they want
- people to break the cycle of poverty and abuse
- people to find jobs, or enter into education and training.
