Respite Program
Melbourne Citymission’s Respite program provides an effective quality service for eligible individuals which assists people with disabilities to develop and achieve personal growth whilst respecting their individual needs. If you are the primary caregiver for someone who is living with a disability, we can provide short-term breaks to support you.
Is this program for me?
We can work with you if you:
- are aged over 18
- are living in Melbourne’s north or west
- are a voluntary caregiver of someone living with a disability.
How can the program assist me?
We aim to:
- enhance the quality of life for both you and the person you give care to
- provide positive learning experiences for the person with a disability
- provide opportunities for you to choose the activities that you want to do within the community
- be responsive to your needs.
Please note
We encourage feedback regarding the service we provide and any ideas around respite that are not currently available.
