Evolution Program

The Evolution Program is a 8-week creative arts program which allows participants to work alongside professional artists and youth workers, exposing them to a range of different art forms including visual art, design, film/video, animation and photography.
Who does this program support?
Evolution program is for:
- Any young person aged 13-19
- Is currently studying or unemployed
- Is homeless or is at risk of homelessness
- Has an interest in creating art.
Applicants out of this age range may be considered depending on vacancies. Participants must also be willing to speak with Evolution youth support/case workers.
Cost
The program is free, with lunch and a Metcard provided daily.
Dates and location
The program will commence on 6 March 2012, and will run every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-3pm. It will take place in Signal (www.signal.net.au), which is Melbourne’s first arts studio dedicated to young people, located in Northbank, behind Flinders Street Station.
Closing date for applications is at COB on Tuesday 28 February 2012.
