Stopover Youth Refuge
Stopover offers supported short-term crisis accommodation to single young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
How does the program work?
Young people can stay at Stopover for up to 6 weeks, in which time they are supported to find more suitable, stable long-term accommodation.
Please note:
Assessment is via any Opening Doors access point, including:
- Melbourne Youth Support Service
- Yarra Community Housing
- Homeground Services
- North East Housing.

Homelessness Accommodation and Support Services provide a range of support to young people, adults and families who are at risk of homelessness or are homelessness.
The aim of Homelessness Accommodation and Support services is to empower service users to work towards independence. We respect and value the decisions of our clients so we can provide the information, advocacy and community links that best meet their needs.
