Your rights
As a client of Melbourne Citymission you have the right to:
- services provided by experienced and qualified staff
- services that are safe and do no harm
- be treated fairly and with respect, no matter who you are or where you come from
- be involved in decisions Melbourne Citymission takes makes to support you
- information about the service you receive, which is explained to you in a way that you understand
- your personal information being kept private
- provide feedback, complain and be heard on any issue, at any time. Melbourne Citymission has a written policy that protects your right to complain. It is also our policy that you will not be disadvantaged when you make a complaint
- be told, understand and agree to Melbourne Citymission sharing your personal information with others who may provide you a service
- to involve an advocate of your choice.
Your responsibilities
As a client of Melbourne Citymission you should:
- respect the rights of other service users, staff and the community in general
- respect the right of staff to a work in a safe environment
- be responsible for decisions that you make
- provide details thatinformation to help us provide services towork with you.
