Bequests

A bequest is a unique gift. It is an investment in the future of the people and things that are important to you.  By leaving a bequest to Melbourne Citymission, you are making a real difference for those in the community who are disadvantaged.

 Bequests can take a number of forms, including:

- a percentage of the value of your estate;

- a specified amount of money or property; or

- a residue of the estate after your family and other beneficiaries have been provided for.

Making a will - leaving your legacy

A will specifies who or what will inherit your property and possessions after you are gone. It is a way that you can provide for family members, friends and the things that are important to you.

A will also provides peace of mind. It is about clearly setting out your intentions for the future so they will be attended to after death.
