When is PJ Day?
Friday 8 August 2008. If you can't run your PJ Day on that day we don't mind though. Whenever's good for you.
We want to run a PJ Day - what should we do?
Register now.
What's involved in running a PJ Day?
- Rally your workmates to wear their PJs at work. And on the way to work too if you're really brave.
We don't want to/ can't wear PJs to work, what can we do?
- If no-one's up for wearing their PJs, you can hold a PJ Day Morning Tea and sell badges.
Donating
We don't want to run a PJ Day, we just want to donate to support the homeless - what should we do?

Registering
What happens once we've registered?
- A web page will appear with a link to your PJ Day Online Information Kit, full of fundraising ideas, event ideas and information about homelessness. Print it out - it will be really useful.
- We'll send the link to the PJ Day Online Information Kit in an email as soon as you've registered too.
- You'll receive regular emails with PJ Day updates, useful information and campaign news.
- A PJ Day Resource Pack will be posted to you at the address you gave when you registered, in around one week.
What do we get in our PJ Day Resource Pack?
- Posters to advertise your PJ Day.
- Badges to sell if you ordered any.
- A donation box to collect the cash you raise.
- Balloons and stickers, if you're a kindergarten or primary school.
Raising money
How can we raise money on our PJ Day?
- Sell badges in your workplace or to friends - on the day, before or after, it's all good.
- Get people to bring a gold coin donation either to wear their PJs to work or attend the PJ Day Morning Tea. Or both.
- Check out your PJ Day Online Information Kit for more ideas.
Prizes
Can we win prizes for holding a PJ Day?
Yes! There's heaps of stuff on offer in return for early registration, most participants and most monies raised. Keep checking the website and make sure you read your email updates!

How much do we sell the badges for?

How can we order badges?
- Call us on 03 8625 4444, or
- Log an order when you register.
What do the badges say on them?
- "I'll wear my PJs next year"
- "I pulled on my PJs for the homeless"
What do we do once we've received our badges?
Sell as many as you can, to anyone you can!
Once PJ Day is over
Once PJ Day is over, what do we do with the money and leftover badges?
Glad you asked. Print off the donation and evaluation form from the Resources section of the website (coming soon), follow the instructions on it, and return it to us with the money you raised plus any leftover badges.
Information about homelessness
We want to hold a lesson/session about homelessness - where can I find out some information?
Teacher's packs for kinder and primary school teachers are available on the Resources section of the website (coming soon).
Can Melbourne Citymission come and give a talk to us about homelessness?
We'd love to come out and talk to every office, school, university or kinder that do PJ Day, but there are only a few of us, and more than 300 of you. So call us on 03 8625 4444 and we can talk about it.
Admin forms
We need to provide people who donated at my event with tax receipts - how can we get these?
Tax receipts can be printed off from the Resources section of the website (coming soon).
We want people to be able to make credit card donations at our event - where are the forms?
