We want to run a Winter Sleepout - what should we do?
Register here now.

Where can we hold a Winter Sleepout?
Winter Sleepouts can be held anywhere; it's up to you. You can use your school hall, school oval, your backyard, or even your living room.

When can we do our Winter Sleepout?
Winter Sleepout is Friday 8 August, but if you can't hold it then, then that's ok with us. Whenever's good for you.

Can we participate in PJ Day and hold a Winter Sleepout as well?
Yes.

What if it rains?
Have a Plan B. If it looks like rain, make sure there's a space indoors that you can go and camp in.

We don't want to Sleepout or PJ Day, but we still want to support the homeless, what can we do?

Hold a morning tea and sell badges.

More information about homelessness

We want to hold a lesson/session about homelessness - where can I find out some information?
Teacher's packs are available on the Resources section of the website (coming soon!). They'll work for Scout leaders, Guide leaders and Youth Group leaders too.

Can Melbourne Citymission come and give a talk to us about homelessness?

We'd love to come out and talk to every school, university and youth group that do Winter Sleepout, but there are only a few of us, and more than 300 of you. So call us on 03 8625 4444 and we can talk about it.
