In 2011, 86.1% of 20–24 year olds in Victoria had completed Year 12 or an equivalent qualification. This leaves 60,000 young Victorians without a qualification (ABS, 2011).
We believe that education is critical to improved life opportunities. Our experience shows that education can be a passport to employment, better health, stable housing and community connection. That’s why we’ve invested our resources into educational services for young people.
We’re now a Registered Training Organisation, delivering accredited training for disengaged and hard to reach learners. We’re also a non school senior secondary provider which allows us to deliver the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), a hands on alternative to VCE. And, we’re also a registered Learn Local provider, delivering a number of successful pre-accredited training courses which help to provide a journey towards further training and employment.
