The Hester Hornbrook Academy, formerly Melbourne Academy, is an Independent school run by Melbourne City Mission established to provide supportive and flexible learning programs with a strong focus on reengagement and wellbeing.

The HEAT program, with Guy Grossi as its patron, is an innovative and practical hospitality re-engagement program. HEAT supports young people to gain an accredited training qualification in hospitality, whilst preparing for the world of work or further education.

School Focussed Youth Service (SFYS) works with schools in order to reengage students who are showing signs of disengagement from the mainstream school environment. SFYS do this through capacity building, designing specific intervention programs and network building initiatives with mainstream schools, community service, mental health, creative arts and wellbeing service organisations.
