Family & Community Links at Hartnett House
Operating on a two-year trail basis, Family & Community Links operates with a specific emphasis on inclusiveness for people of all abilities with services that reflect a culture of learning. The service is a dynamic one reflecting the expressed needs of current clientele, practitioners, and community leaders with the vision of building an inclusive community clearly articulated. The service focuses on early childhood development, integrating and strengthening services to provide additional support to families in a safe, inclusive learning environment. Children of all abilities are provided with an opportunity to develop and learn specific skills through participation in playgroups, accessing long day care or occasional care through the childcare centre, participating in kindergarten, and for those children with additional needs, receiving early intervention services.
