State-wide Acquired Brain Injury Case Management Service
Every year this service works with about 120 people aged from 18 to 64 who have a moderate to severe acquired brain injury (ABI). The sudden onset of an ABI means often clients and their families are not used to dealing with medical treatment and rehabilitation. Case managers in this service assist people in accessing services, maximise their quality of life so they can participate in the community as fully as possible.
