Community Integration & Accommodation Options
CIAO is a supported accommodation program for young people aged between 15 and 18 years. The program utilises the skills of volunteer lead tenants whose primary role is to provide the young people with a positive role model. In a supportive, learning environment, CIAO staff assist the young people to develop the independent living skills necessary to maintain healthy and sustainable living. Upon exiting the CIAO program, the young people are also assisted to access permanent, affordable housing. The program is also responsible for the provision of case coordination while the young people are in receipt of services.
