Shout a person experiencing homelessness lunch
The HEAT Homeless Longest Lunch is an event for people who have lived experiences of homelessness. It seeks to highlight issues surrounding disadvantage, disengagement and empowerment.
It runs each year as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and enables members of Melbourne’s homeless community to enjoy a memorable three course lunch in an iconic setting.
This year the event will take place on Friday 22 March at Luna Park in St Kilda where guests will enjoy a menu designed by HEAT’s Patron, Guy Grossi and HEAT Executive Chef, Arnold Greiner.
The meals will also be prepared, cooked and serviced by HEAT and William Angliss students, providing them with industry experience as part of their Certificate II in Hospitality.
Since 2009 over 1,500 members of the homeless community have dined with HEAT, however this would not be possible without community support.
We need your help to ensure this event's success.
By purchasing a ticket, you will provide the opportunity for a person who is experiencing homelessness to attend the event and enjoy a three-course lunch. A special treat for those doing it tough. Tickets costs $50 per person and you can purchase as many tickets as you like.
Please note: ticket purchasers do not attend the event. You are purchasing a ticket for someone experiencing homelessness to attend the event.
