About our service
Youthlaw provides free legal information, advice and casework to young people. It is also active in policy development and advocacy around issues affecting young people’s legal rights. Legal advice and information is available to young people by phone, email, face to face and Skype, and legal factsheets on a range of topics can be downloaded from their website. Youthlaw also conducts education programs relating to legal issues for young people and their workers.
Who can avail of this support?
You or your client can avail of this service if you are under 25 years of age.
How can this support assist me or my client?
Youthlaw provides free and confidential legal information and advice to young people up to the age of 25. They can sometimes provide legal representation to young people who meet our casework criteria. Youthlaw also provides free and confidential legal information about the rights of young people to youth workers, teachers or other professionals working with young people and family and friends of young people by telephone or email.
We are available Monday – Friday, 9am –5pm by phone. Young people can drop in to see a lawyer at Frontyard on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 2pm–5pm. No appointment needed.
