Save a dog, change a lifeOur Mates for Inmates campaign will raise vital funds to support a new prison program. This inaugural program, based on the Pups in Prison model, will be implemented at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison in Victoria. The program will match dogs in need of training and re-housing with specially screened and selected candidates. Help us give women and unwanted dogs a second chance. Homelessness professionals combine brainpower for action!Melbourne Citymission’s Family Reconciliation Mediation Program (FRMP) is hosting its annual conference for professionals working within the homelessness sector across Victoria, to combine their very best people, ideas and expertise to combat youth homelessness. The conference entitled 'From Homelessness to Homefullness' will be held on 17 and 18 May 2012 and will be opened by The Hon. Wendy Lovell MLC, Minister for Housing.
