If you are aged from 15 to 21 years, we can support you to find a job, get into study and/or build your work skills.
Is this program for me?
We can work with you if you are:
- aged from 15 to 25
- unemployed or about to lose your job
- leaving school
- eligible to register with Centrelink.
How can the program assist me?
We can assist if:
- you are thinking about getting into a career but not sure where to start. We can advise you about your career options, help you plan for your next steps and put you in touch with employers or places where you can get training or further study
- you have got your ear to the ground for a good job. If you’re on the job hunt, we have computers (with internet access), telephones, job boards and specialist staff that can help you apply for jobs
- you want more education, training or skills. We can hook you up with further study, skills programs and work experience to help you get the job you are looking for
- you have got a great idea for a business. We can help you gain the skills you need to set up a small business. We can offer hands on small business experience. We can even help you to turn your business idea into reality
- you are out of home and need other support. If you have left home and need a little extra support we have counselling, health and housing support services, just to name a few
- you have got stuff to sort out with Centrelink. We can speak on your behalf to Centrelink. We can explain Centrelink’s rules and regulations. We can also offer advice that could help you out in the long run.

Employment Education & Training
We empower people who are disadvantaged with resources to access meaningful employment, education and training options.
Melbourne Citymission’s employment, education and training services work with young people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or experiencing disadvantage.
We support these young people to overcome not only individual but structural barriers that prevent them from entering into education, training and employment pathways.
Our services are linked and integrated, which means that young people have a range of resources at their disposal that help them to gain the confidence and experience they need so they can develop the study, skills and work options they want.
