Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Vicki has been Chief Executive Officer of Melbourne City Mission since 2016. Vicki’s more than 30 year career has spanned the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, including Royal District Nursing Service, BP and National Australia Bank. For the past 13 years, Vicki has partnered with Boards, CEOs and peers to deliver transformational change and growth in complex and challenging environments.

As CEO of Melbourne City Mission, Vicki counts it a great privilege to be leading the organisation through a new stage in its history, as it adapts to thrive in an emerging marketplace, amid sector reforms putting clients more in control of decisions that impact upon them.

Liz Bishop

Liz Bishop

Deputy CEO – Strategy, Service Development and Innovation

Liz has worked in the disability sector for over 30 years in a variety of leadership and management roles. Liz has qualifications in management & leadership, including a Graduate Diploma of Business from RMIT, and a Certificate in Association Management. Liz completed the Williamson Community Leadership Program through Leadership Victoria in 2002 and gained the Victorian Harvard Club Scholarship to participate in the Strategic Perspectives in not-for-profit Management (SPNM) short course in 2008 at Harvard University. Liz has also been a board member of a number of NFPs and Peak bodies, including National Disability Services & Arts Project Australia. 

Andrew Moore

Andrew Moore

Chief Financial Officer

Andrew commenced with Melbourne City Mission in June 2009 bringing over 30 years' financial management experience to the organisation. Andrew previously held leadership and senior client service roles at Ernst and Young where he gained knowledge and experience working with a broad client base across the not-for-profit, corporate and public sectors. Andrew completed a Bachelor of Economics at Monash University and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Dave Wells

General Manager – Early Years, Education & Employment

Dave has an extensive range of experience in the community services sector, holding a number of leadership roles within the youth services & education portfolios. Working across a range of organisations in both NZ and Australia has provided Dave with significant exposure to community service models & practices. Dave is keenly aware of the important role education plays from day one of people's lives and throughout their journey. For this reason Dave is passionate about ensuring every individual receives a quality start & a solid education regardless of the situation they are born into, and whatever barriers they come up against. Dave has a Masters in Theology and post graduate qualifications in both philosophy & education.

Diarmuid McAlary

General Manager – Corporate Services

Diarmuid brings over 25 years of finance, commercial and strategic experience; gained throughout a long career at BP and more recently as Chief Financial officer for National Tiles. Diarmuid’s passion is leading teams and developing people to achieve great results together. Diarmuid has also served on boards as a company director including Big Sky Building Society. He is a former Chair of the Advisory Board for Our Lady of The Pines Primary School and has been the long term Secretary of Donvale Football Club. Diarmuid is a Fellow of both CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jenny Boulton

Jennifer Boulton

General Manager – Disability Services, Early Childhood Intervention Services, Palliative Care
Jennifer has supported people with disability, families and staff in the sector for the past three decades. She has worked with the Department of Human Services, DASSI and Yooralla in senior management roles and has recently returned to Melbourne City Mission. Jennifer has a strong commitment to justice for all citizens and works towards a vision where everyone has equal access to the opportunities that make for a meaningful life. Jennifer has particular expertise in the delivery of case management, residential and community based supports for people with disability.
Rod

Rod Szigeter

General Manager – Marketing, Fundraising and Communications

Rod brings significant expertise from the corporate sector, most recently Bupa Australia. Rod’s experience supporting growth through market segmentation, defining customer propositions and setting and executing marketing strategies will be crucial to ensuring MCM continues the journey of creating a client orientated marketing and brand presence. This has also been supplemented by his recent experience as a Board member for ReGen – a sector leading NFP operating in the Alcohol & Other Drugs space.

Wayne Merritt

Wayne Merritt

Interim General Manager, Homelessness and Justice

Wayne, currently in an interim role, brings many years experience to the homelessness portfolio. His previous role as Senior Manager of Integrated Youth Services which incorporates Frontyard Youth Services, a drop in youth service providing support and essential services for those who are homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless in Melbourne's CBD, has provided Wayne with a wealth of experience in our innovative homelessness services space and how we work with young people.
