Join us for MCM Sleep At The ’G, where each year, compassionate Victorians come together in support of thousands of young Victorians who are without a safe place to call home.
Sleep At The ’G is a unique opportunity to get your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours, or your club together and join you in sleeping at the MCG. You'll learn about the issues facing young people and hear first-hand their personal stories that will inspire you and your understanding of homelessness.
It is also a night of fun and entertainment with live music, games, DJ, fashion parade, prizes and lots more!

On any given night, over 7,600 young people aged 12-24 are experiencing homelessness in Victoria, which is an astounding 19.7% increase since 2016.
Young people do not choose to become homeless. For many, the daily reality and burden of family violence, abuse, neglect, mental illness, substance abuse, unemployment, gambling, and the disadvantages of poverty force them to flee the family home in search of a safer option.
Your fundraising and one-night sleepover at the iconic MCG will help raise essential funds to build youth housing and support young people experiencing homelessness.
For further information on the event, please visit Sleep At The ‘G.
For young people to re-establish their lives, they need a safe place to call home. But it’s never been harder to access affordable, accessible homes in Melbourne.
Supply is at an all-time low.
That’s why we’re taking matters into our own hands by building homes. Homes especially for young people.
The money you raise from sleeping at the MCG will go towards creating safe, supportive homes with wellbeing-oriented care and support. The more you raise, the more we can build.
If sleeping at the 'G is not your thing, you can still help MCM to end youth homelessness by making a donation. Remember, all donations $2 and over are tax deductible.
