Held annually in the first week of August, PJ Day is a major fundraiser for Melbourne Citymission's Homelessness Campaign. This year it's on Friday 8 August. Monies raised go to the services that support homeless people in Melbourne.
Who can do a PJ Day?
Anyone really. Offices, schools, businesses, crèches and kindergardens are all planning to hold PJ Days this year.
Why a PJ Day?
Wearing your PJs is fun but it's also a reminder of the safe, cosy bed you left at home; the safe cosy bed that thousands of people don't have in Melbourne.
Where do PJ Day funds go?
All funds raised go to a Melbourne Citymission homelessness services, working with young people, adults, and families.
